Files View
- Top navigation bar - access to other Storyboarder platform pages
- Creator Studio - click here to get to this file view from other pages
- Left navigation bar - access other file types
- Editor Files - open new and existing Editor Files
- Series - create and manage your Series here
- Exports - list of most recent Editor File exports
- Feedback Box - send us feedback here!
Editor
Core tool that lets you create and build your visual stories.
3D View
This is where you build your scene in 3D. You can add objects, pose characters, adjust cameras, and set up panels.
- Panel Drawer - select and reorder panels
- Mode Switch - switch between 3D View and Layout View
- Toolbar - open asset browsers and add speech balloons
- Outliner - shows a list of all assets inside the scene
- Property Panel - change properties of what’s selected in the scene
- Camera View Switches - change camera view from Capture, Free, to Map View
- Camera Helpers – guide and buttons to help you move the camera in the 3D scene
2D View (Layout View)
Transforms your 3D scenes into 2D panels. Adjust panel layouts, resize frames, and fine-tune the visual flow.
- Panel Drawer - select and reorder panels
- Canvas - where you edit layout of your visual story (move and resize panels, add effects)
- Add Speech Balloons, Add 2D Images
- Zoom In/Zoom Out
- Export - to publishable/shareable format
