Thank you for your interest in Storyboarder, Inc. (“Storyboarder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Storyboarder, including our website, web-based editor, and related services (collectively, the Service).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information

- Be responsible for all activity under your account
Storyboarder reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts.
3. The Service
- Storyboarder provides tools for creating, editing, publishing, and sharing visual stories and related content.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership
- Storyboarder does not claim ownership of your content.
- Any content you create, upload, or publish through the Service belongs to you.
4.2 License to Storyboarder
- You grant Storyboarder permission to host, display, and distribute your content to operate and improve the Service.
- This includes showcasing and promoting your work (e.g., site features, social channels, product updates).
- This license is:
- Non-exclusive
- Worldwide
- Royalty-free
- Active only while your content is publicly accessible on the Service
- Trusted service providers may access your content solely to support Storyboarder operations and receive no ownership rights.
4.3 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
- You own or have rights to all content used
- Your content does not infringe third-party rights
- Your content complies with applicable laws
4.4 Copyright Policy
- Our copyright infringement procedures, including DMCA notices and counter-notifications, are described in our Copyright Policy, incorporated by reference.
4.5 Content Guidelines
- Your use of the Service must comply with our Content Guidelines, incorporated by reference.
- Storyboarder may update these guidelines to reflect community standards or legal requirements.
- We reserve the right to remove content and take enforcement action at our discretion.
4.6 Monetization and Future Programs
- Storyboarder currently does not offer monetization tools.
- We may introduce optional creator monetization features in the future.
- Any such features will be governed by separate terms that you can review and opt into.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Upload or distribute illegal content
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with Service operations
6. Intellectual Property
- All Service-provided software, features, design, branding, and assets (excluding User Content) are owned by Storyboarder or its licensors.
- These materials are protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
7. Third-Party Services
- The Service may include links or integrations with third-party services.
- Storyboarder is not responsible for third-party content, terms, or practices.
8. Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if the Service is discontinued.
- Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
9. Disclaimers
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
10. Limitation of Liability
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYBOARDER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
- TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED:
- The amount paid to Storyboarder in the prior 12 months, or
- US $100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Storyboarder and its affiliates from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
12. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
