Copyright Policy (DMCA)

It is Storyboarder’s policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
1. DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible through the Service, please submit a written notification to Storyboarder’s designated copyright agent that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it on the Service
- Your contact information, including:
- Address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf

2. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you uploaded was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent.
Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of:
- The federal court located in your judicial district, or
- If outside the United States, the federal court located in the Northern District of California
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice
3. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Storyboarder reserves the right to terminate accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
