Editing Layout

Storyboarder lets you edit the layout of your visual stories without switching applications. Many features in this section came from creator feedback, and we're continuously adding more. You can reorder panels, resize them, drag them around, and change which elements appear in front or back.

Panel Settings

In the Property Panel in 2D View, you can change settings such as Character Outlines and Panel Outlines. Make sure a panel is selected for the settings to be applied.

Visual Effects

Select a panel and add cool visual effects!

Images

Add 2D images using the Image browser accessible on the top navbar. You can upload images to the browser or simply dragging an image file to the canvas.

Speech Balloons

Some creators like to work on dialogue separately from scene building in 3D View. We made it so that you can also add and edit speech balloons in 2D View, much like how lettering is done separately in traditional comic creation.
